Judy Henwood; Rotary Club of Calgary President, Jim Shaner; Bruce Henwood & Immediate Past President, Tony Howard 

Shortly before Jack’s inspired address to the Club, the real reason for Bruce Henwood’s attendance was revealed. He (with wife Judy) was there to be presented with one of Rotary’s highest honours, as Bruce was made a “Paul Harris Fellow”. This Rotary International distinction (named

after the Founder of Rotary) is reserved for people who have made significant contributions to their community or profession. Bruce was honoured by Rotary for his selfless determination to see a wrong in our Armed Forces set to right. All ex-cadets can be proud of Bruce’s battle for equality with respect to the compensation and treatment of all Service Ranks wounded in the line of Duty.  

Needless to say, I was proud to tell the three young guests at my table, that I had attended RMC too!
