More Photos of Jack Cadieux in Retirement

Retirement years! Jack and Ruth in their beautiful
Japanese Garden and enjoying life at their cottage
in the Gatineau hills just north of Ottawa

Jack with his two Italian Granddaughters, Noemi and Dalina during their Christening on Easter Sunday, 2005. With such close family ties to Italy, Grandfather Jack also became a certified Italiana Godda Fathera (to whom one should always show respetto, otherwise you might risk getting "drilled").  The grandchildren reside in Mondovi, Piemonte, with their parents very close to Torino.  Jack & Ruth have a visit planned for early in March, arriving in Torino just after the Olympics.

Retirement is not all about traveling and grandchildren!  Pictured is Jack Cadieux with classmate, H3948 John Plant, former RMC Principal, 1984-99 and current president of the RMC Club / Foundation.  The two are enjoying a nice glass of wine; relaxing and undoubtedly exchanging a few stories about their college days and the RMC Class of 1957.  The occasion was the 2005 reception and party for RMC ’57 Classmates from the Ottawa, Kingston and Montreal areas which Jack and Ruth have hosted for the last three years at their cottage to commemorate the Fiftieth (and subsequent) Anniversary of their “First Day” at RMC.  For them all, the phrase “9/11” has a very significant second connotation!
